The Pune Farmer’s Market is back in full swing. This open-air whole foods market is a veritable portal into a world filled with bargains, shopping, fun, memories and of course, FOOD. Giving ample reasons to celebrate taste and culinary magic, this event—the brainchild of Karen Anand and Yadu Sankalia and their team of skilled professionals who work the ropes behind the scenes—is something to be inspired by.

June 30th is closing in and a whole dimension is going to split open right here in Pune. The Pune Farmer’s Market is a highly anticipated event, something similar being held all over the globe only hosted by various organizations and diverse countries. Indian cuisine, on the other hand, stands apart from the rest, spreading spice and awesome in equal measure.

Few events display the rich spectrum of culinary hues like the Pune Farmer’s Market (PFM). From assorted lifestyle wares, great drink and superb foods and one of the best spreads of Indian and International produce, the Pune Farmer’s Market is certain to thrill your heart and rattle you to your core.

From socializing to feasting in ways the human senses alone can truly appreciate, this is an event nobody should miss out on. What a feast it’s going to be with Ajay Chopra, the star of MasterChef, demonstrating and showcasing kebabs from the Kitchens of Kangan, Westin Mumbai and Pune. Mmm-mm!

Entertainment is just waiting to happen. The PFM theatre brings its own program to the event, featuring talks on wines, coffee, Asia 7’s sushi creating style, maintenance and makeovers using natural cosmetics, a demo involving fine vegan cooking and more.

6.30 – 7.00: Demo on Vegan food by Anuradha Sawhney, author of "The Vegan Kitchen: Bollywood Style!"

Speaking of… The Organic Bazaar is going to be one of the most memorable moments of this already special occasion. Karen’s salad dressings and sauces as well as PFM wildflower honey, stone ground masalas, wooden salad bowls, boards and T shirts are waiting to be picked up.

This is it! The word’s out. The Pune Farmer’s Market is in town and the rains aren’t going to keep me from attending. Eeeeeeeee, I’m so excited!
