Homemade Facial Masks for Winter

 

Winters can be pretty harsh on the skin. Did you know that you could suffer from a winter tan too? So here are some easy-peezy home remedies to restore the moisture of your skin. These masks work great even if you have naturally oily skin. Winter can at times harm oily skin too. Start in time and you’ll glow through the season.

Mask 1:

Raid the kitchen for:

Handful of grapes

Do what:

Deseed them and make a pulp. Apply this on your face.

Wash it with cold water after 15 minutes.

Mask 2:

Raid the kitchen for:

Half a papaya

Do what:

Make a pulp. Apply this evenly on your face.

Wash it with cold water after 15 minutes. Besides moisturizing, this mask also adds a glow to your face.

Mask 3:

Raid the kitchen for:

4 strawberries

1 tbsp rose water

Do what:

Mash the strawberries and mix with rose water. Apply this on your face and neck.

Wash it with cold water after 15 minutes.

Mask 4:

Raid the kitchen for:

5 tbsp honey

2 tbsp carrot juice (fresh)

Do what:

Mix the two well and apply it on your face and neck and other dry areas of the body.

Wash it with cold water after 15 minutes and enjoy silky smooth skin.

Mask 5:

Raid the kitchen for:

1 tbsp curd

1 tbsp tomato juice

1 tbsp rose water

Do what:

Mix them well and apply this on your face.

Wash it with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.

Mask 6:

Raid the kitchen for:

1/2 banana

2 tbsp cream or malai

Do what:

Mix them well and apply this on your face.

Wash it with lukewarm water after 30 minutes. This is one of the best moisturizing and nourishing facial masks.
